Traceability based of QR code

The principle of physical traceability

We differentiate ourselves from other traceability systems because we directly involve your suppliers to collect primary data, the original data derived from your direct stakeholder.

We focus on:

Material Forward Tracking : Material tracking focuses on gathering real-time data from material suppliers following the production flow.

Material Backward Tracing : Material tracing is an investigative measure after material production has already been carried out, to ensure documental compliance up to tier 4.

We are enabling that data validation through a double layer traceability system which is both digital and physical by apply QR codes on all materials and finished products to actually link the information from your ERP and PM system with the actual material flow at the factory level.

Each time the QR code is scanned, the system synchronizes with the Platform PO management which updates the data in real time.

In this way,the data validation process becomes part of a due diligence for suppliers and this guarantees the accuracy and consistency of the data against any form of accusation.

Gain the full control over your entire production process with real time data

Manage your orders and shipping times in a simple way

The data traced by reading tags (QR code) will enable you to manage the procurement process of raw materials, the Manufacturing Process up to the finished product.

Thanks to this primary data, coming from the work of your supply chain, you will have useful insights about your suppliers’ performance: who is best performing, who does not track materials, who respects delivery times.

Based on 3 different pillars: Service, Quality, Cost you will be able to access an automatically generated Supply Chain Ranking, which could be also customized.

The ranking tool allows you to easily adopt any corrective action (in real-time) to make your players in the supply chain work properly and focus on specific issues in order to support an efficiency driven co-evolution process.

Learn from your data and prevent potential risks

Make timely, informed data-driven decisions

Thanks to the KPI’s Dashboard, you can monitor your supply chain data available 24/7, and also access an automatic traceability report every order

You will visualize all relevant data about the product and the value creation activities: manufacturing, procurement, claims, effective management of orders, bill of materials, delivery lead time, and the forecast of orders.

But also Manufacturing KPIs, through the activation of QR codes directly in the factories, suppliers can give visibility to the brand in real time on the production flow and processing of raw materials up to the finished product.

Leftover Management: Don’t pay “the invisible waste” of your production

Repurpose deadstock and leftovers to empower a transition to circular and regenerative fashion

The direct onboarding of factories and material suppliers on The ID Factory platform supports them in mapping and keeping track of materials flows along the entire supply chain.

Thanks to the digitized process, suppliers can keep track not only of production activites but also of the operational waste, including both deadstock and leftover materials.

In this way, brand will be able to allocate new production orders using the actual supply chain “invisible waste” and suppliers can boost their production efficiency by finding new circular destinations for their waste.

In fact the system automatically checks the difference between the estimated consumption of raw materials to each production order with the effective material used in ordered to support brands in improving the material forecasts.

FAQ

What differentiates your solution from other traceability software?

Many software support the supply chain traceability, but in the end collected secondary data that are not verified by the actual data owner. We differentiate ourselves from other traceability systems because we directly involve your suppliers to collect primary data, the original data derived from your direct stakeholder.

What software do you integrate with?

We help you ensure that material tracing, reporting, PO and certificate management fits well into your business flow, through the integration with your ERP and PLM systems, in order to help you empower all the stakeholders involved – from farmer to final garment. We are already integrated with SAP, AS/400, Stealth, ZDHC and partnership with Eco – Age, Temera, Sopra Steria, Ympact, Process Factory, 4Sustainability.

What is your current user base and monthly number of transactions?

• +300 Raw Material Vendors – Leather, PU, Fabric, Accessories, Packaging, Trimmings, Outsole, Outsole components, reinforcements, Outer cartons, Uppers
• +250 Factories – maily footwear
• 22 countries including China, Vietnam , Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Cambodia, Indonesia, Argentina, Italy, Portugal, …
• Users in supply chain is Operations teams like QC, Procurement, Compliance.
• 90% of mentioned user interact monthly with the platform
• +60% of the users interact almost daily
• Few numbers of traced material in 2022, if more details required just ask:
• +40 millions sf Leather
• +228 millions packaging components
• +22 millions outsoles
• + 4 million meter fabric
• +90 millions of unit on other material cluster

Can i rank my suppliers based on additional criteria? (es. yarn quality)

Yes, the software can be easily personalized based on the brands’ quality standards requirements and sustainability credentials. The suppliers’ ranking is based on 4 key dimensions (quality, service, sustainability and cost), each of which can be customized based on the brand’s ranking criteria.
